Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Faithly. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Faithly.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding agreement under U.S. law. By using Faithly you confirm you meet these requirements.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Keep your password secure and notify us of any unauthorized use. Provide accurate information.
3. Acceptable Use & User Content
You retain ownership of content you post, and grant Faithly a license to host, display and distribute it within the app to provide the service. You are responsible for what you post.
You agree not to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, encourages self-harm, infringes others' rights, is spam, or otherwise violates our community guidelines. We may moderate content and may block, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms.
Zero tolerance. Faithly has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report any post, comment, prayer request, event, message or person, and block any user. We review reports within 24 hours and remove violating content and suspend or remove the accounts that posted it.
4. Acceptable Use Policy (EULA)
By using Faithly you agree to this end-user license and acceptable use policy. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. You agree that you will not:
- Post, send or share content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, abusive or discriminatory, or that bullies, stalks or targets any person or group.
- Post sexually explicit content, graphic violence, content that exploits or endangers minors, or content that encourages self-harm.
- Impersonate another person, church or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation or role.
- Send spam, scams, solicitations or unauthorized advertising.
- Post content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes someone's intellectual property or privacy.
- Attempt to access other accounts, probe or disrupt the service, or work around blocks, suspensions or moderation.
- Use Faithly for any unlawful purpose.
5. Reporting, Blocking & Enforcement
- Report: use the Report option on a post, comment, prayer request, event, message or profile. Choose a reason and submit.
- Block: open a person's profile, tap the menu and choose Block. Blocked users cannot message you and their content is hidden from you. You can also hide an individual post.
- Review: every report goes to our moderation team. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that violates these Terms, and suspend or remove offending accounts. We may remove content and accounts without prior notice.
- Appeal or contact us: write to support@faithly.church if you believe a decision was a mistake or to report something urgent.
6. Church Verification (KYC)
Church leaders may undergo identity verification through our verification partner. Verification is optional unless you seek verified status, and is subject to the partner's processing.
7. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community or service. You may delete your account at any time in the app.
8. Disclaimers
Faithly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content (including AI-generated reflection prompts) is accurate or suitable for any purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faithly is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Third-Party Services
The app relies on third-party providers (e.g., Google Firebase, OpenAI, OpenRouter, iDenfy). Your use may be subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. They apply to users throughout the United States.
